The Golden Thread also serves as a metaphor that represents your personal path, weaving its way through your life. it portrays purpose and meaning, your intuition and inner voice, 'your reason for being.' The guiding light in your life.

It can feel disheartening when you finally contact a therapist and they aren’t available for weeks or months. With this in mind, I tend to keep a fairly short waiting list, making sure to contact you when I do have availability.

Online therapy has been revolutionary, reducing barriers and making access to psychotherapy easier than ever before. Part of my training took place during the pandemic, and as a result, I learned the immense value in offering confidential therapy online. I, primarily, work remotely offering video or telephone therapy dependent upon your preference. This may not suit you and may even sound uncomfortable, however I endeavour to put all my clients at ease, making sure this is a relaxed and pleasant process. I do offer walk and talk therapy if you are local to me.

I am working hard to organise a space for face to face therapy, which will be offered soon.

I work short and long-term, with the belief that the client should decide how many sessions they need or want. I offer different packages dependent on need, which can be discussed during a phone call/consultation. I am aware that therapy is not exactly affordable for everyone so I do offer concessionary rates for those who are struggling financially. We will often work in blocks of weeks and agree on a date for a review session ahead of time. This allows us to assess if the focus of therapy needs to change, perhaps take a short break or even stop altogether. The first month is the most important in developing a good relationship for therapeutic work, so it is common for new clients to have a session once a week for at least four weeks. After that, I can offer fortnightly sessions if preferred.
